Hotel Information Technology Association or widely known as HITA has expanded to East Indonesia, by opening a new chapter in East Borneo (Kalimantan Timur – Kaltim). The inauguration of HITA Kalimantan Timur was held on Sunday, March 18th 2018 at Harris Hotel Samarinda.
The inauguration was opened by Mr. Pramono Soleh, Head of HITA Kaltim and continued with a welcome speech by Mr. Chafidin as Harris Hotel Samarinda representation.
Mr. Pramono Soleh mentioned that HITA Kaltim is founded to equip all Hotel IT Managers with sufficient and equivalent skill & knowledge. The HITA Kaltim inauguration theme “Build a Sharing of Information Technology” aims to create an ecosystem of Hotel IT Managers to accommodate knowledge transfer of newest technology between its members.

Supranusa Sindata (VHP Software Systems) as one of the leading Hotel Management Software provider highly supported the formation of HITA Kaltim Chapter as a session speaker, providing knowledge sharing on current cloud technology, online distribution and mobile technology. The session was presented by Mr. Christian Yie, Director of Business Development.
Participated and attented by numerous hotel representatives around East Borneo area such as ASTON Hotel Samarinda & Balikpapan, HARRIS Hotel Samarinda, Quest Hotel Balikpapan, favehotel Balikpapan, Neo+ Hotel Balikpapan, HORISON Hotel Sagita, Grand Tjokro Balikpapan, Hotel Pacific, Hotel Grand Tiga Mustika, Jatra Hotels, Grand Elty Hotel Tenggarong etc., the inauguration also hosted a traditional dance session and charity to Panti Asuhan Anak Harapan, Samarinda.
