PHRI (Perhimpunan Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia) is a non-profit association of hotel and restaurant owners focusing on tourism sector growth in Indonesia. Each region representatives – called Regional Board (BPD) – holds its regional meeting (Rakerda) annually.
On 3-4 March 2018, PHRI South Sulawesi chapter in commemorating its 49th anniversary held a Hotel & Restaurant Expo at Mall Phinisi Point, Makassar. As its very first Expo by PHRI South Sulawesi, the event was supported by 25 partners from the hospitality industry.
The event was attended by moreover 2.000 visitors during the two days, while the hospitality industry as per 2018 consists of 385 hotels and 1.700 restaurants. Mr. Anggiat Sinaga, head of PHRI South Sulawesi commented, “This Expo aims to facilitate the hospitality industry investors in Sulawesi with proper information and access to the right key persons.
